Straighten Up Syria, Shape Up Iran

Secretary of State, Colin Powell, has written an article that was published today on the abc.es website. In it he warns Syria and Iran to stop supporting terrorism. He also charges Iran with trying to develop weapons of mass destruction. This sure is sounding familiar! Hey, Colin, we're not even in Baghdad yet! So many evil doers, so little time!

Al Haig In Charge?

Last night Larry King had former (and I mean former) Secretary of State and everything else Al Haig on his show. What a fuck up! They bring old Al out of mothballs. There he was on the screen, old skin with a fake suntan, all wrinkled. He went on and on about the former Soviet Union, and how they are still a Superpower. This guy's still fighting the Cold War! He said President Putin of Russia (yeah, Russia, Al, not Soviet Union) has no soul. Now, just what would Al know about having a soul? He may have had one once, before he sold it. Thank God, that Al was wrong when he said, "I'm in charge here," after Reagan got shot, and thank God, he's not in charge now!

Now It's the Japanese!

An explosion went off today in Japan by an American Marine base. There were no casualties. Hey, I thought they were with us on this!

In The Red Zone

The Red Zone is a football term for when one team gets inside the other team's 20 yard line, and is about to score. They're saying we're in the Red Zone in Iraq. Allegedly the Iraqi military has drawn a circle around Baghdad, and when our forces get inside it, they're going to unleash chemical or biological weapons. Funny thing though, the Iraqis never said that, it was our side that did. So, who's hoping to see chemical weapons used? Hmm....

Let's see, who has lots of bio and chem weapons at their disposal? Who wants desperately to find chem and bio weapons in Iraq? Who could plant them, and then find them? Just some questions, nothing unpatriotic ya know.

Syria, You'd Better Keep Your Distance!

Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, has told the Syrian government that they'd better quit supplying the Iraqis. He made a similar warning to the Iranians. I think he'd better put the war he's in behind him, before he starts rattling his saber again, for God's sake! I know one of our policies is to be able to fight two wars simultaneously, but, uh...I mean...the count is already at two, Afghanistan and Iraq. Are we supposed to be able to fight 4 or 5 simultaneously now? Who's next, Canada?
